Dr. Ahmad Abulaban obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery from King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. \u00a0He completed his residency training in Adult Neurology in 2015 at King Abdulaziz Medical City-National Guard-Riyadh. He obtained Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Fellowship and Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship in 2019\/2020 from Yale University, USA. \u00a0\u00a0Dr. Abulaban is duly certified by the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology. \u00a0He was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the College of Medicine, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2020. \u00a0He was appointed as a Consultant Neurologist at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Ministry of National Guard-Health Affairs, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. \u00a0\u00a0He is currently the Residency Training Program Director of Adult Neurology and the Neurosciences and Vision Block Coordinator for Undergraduate Students. \u00a0Also, he has been serving as the Research Officer of the Saudi Multiple Sclerosis Chapter since 2020. \u00a0He has multiple publications in the field of Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology. \u00a0He received numerous research awards.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Dr. Ahmad Almutlaq is a consultant neuroimmunologist at the National Neuroscience Institute at King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Almutlaq completed his residency at McGill University in Montreal, Canada in June 2021. Then he pursued a 2-year fellowship at University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia, USA in June 2023. Dr. Almutlaq has been involved as a sub-investigator in a few large international clinical trials. Dr. Ahmed Althobaiti is a neurologist and neuroimmunologist based at King Saud Medical City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Currently leading the Medical Day Unit Department, his expertise centers on the treatment and research of multiple sclerosis. Dr. Althobaiti has held various managerial roles aimed at advancing his discipline within the healthcare institutions he has served. A Yale University-trained fellow, he is actively involved in multiple national and international conferences, contributing significantly to the field through his publications. Dr. Ahmed Osman Shatila obtained his BSc in Science Biology from the Wayne State University in the United States. He continued his medical education from the medical college of Wayne State University.
Dr. Shatila\u2019s conducted a residency in neurology at Wayne State University and continued his fellowship in neurophysiology.

Dr. Anu Jacob, MD, DM, FRCP, is a Staff Physician in the Neurological Institute and Director of Multiple Sclerosis and Autoimmune Neurology at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.<\/p>

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Jacob was a consultant neurologist at the Walton Center for neurology and neurosurgery in Liverpool, United Kingdom.<\/p>

Dr. Jacob received his medical degree and internal medicine residency from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, India and neurological certification (DM) training at Sri Chitra Tirunal Institute, Thiruvananthapuram, India. He received his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians and Neurology Board certification in the UK and completed his fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuromyelitis Optica at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota.<\/p>

Dr. Jacob served as the National Director for the United Kingdom NHS specialist service for Neuromyelitis optica and he was also the Director for multiple sclerosis services for North Wales, caring for more than 1000 patients affected by the condition. Whilst in the UK, Dr Jacob set up the National NMO service (the first ever comprehensive NMO service in the world) and was awarded the Royal College of physicians Excellence in patient care award for his work that changed the lives of patients with NMO in UK.<\/p>

Dr. Jacob is passionate about education and research and published 3 doctoral theses during his training. Putting his knowledge and skills into practice he has published more than 100 peer reviewed research articles and several book chapters and he was the Chief \/Principal or co-investigator for several clinical trials on MS or NMO and has received several research grants. Dr. Yamout is a Professor of Neurology and director of the Neurology Institute at Harley Street Medical Center in Abu Dhabi. He graduated from medical school at AUB in 1984, received his training in neurology at the University of Cincinnati-Ohio in the USA, and followed by a fellowship at the Montreal Neurological Institute-McGill University in Canada. He received his American Board in Neurology and joined the faculty at the American University of Beirut in 1988. He is currently president of MENACTRIMS (Middle East North Africa Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis), member of the MSIF (Multiple Sclerosis International Federation) Scientific Advisory Board, the International Mc Donald Diagnostic Criteria Review Committee, the medical advisory committee of the UAE National MS Society and fellow of the American Academy of Neurology.<\/p>

Dr. Yamout is one of the leading experts on multiple sclerosis in the Middle East with more than 100 publications in peer reviewed journals. In addition, he is currently the principal investigator on several ongoing international multiple sclerosis research trials. Dr. Raed Alroughani is a consultant neurologist and the director of MS clinic at Amiri and Ibn Sina hospitals. He completed his neurology residency at the University of British Columbia and subsequently obtained the neurology certification from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeon (Canada). He then completed a fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis at the University of British Columbia.
He is actively involved in research and he authored and co-authored more than 170 publications. Dr. Alroughani was awarded the National Prize for scientific production in the field of medical science in 2017 and the best researcher award by Amiri Hospital in 2018.
