Nizam completed medical school at the University of Damascus, followed by neurology residency and clinical neurophysiology fellowship training in the United States. With over 10 years of clinical experience in the U.S., he relocated to Abu Dhabi two years ago to serve as a neurology consultant at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC).<br><br>\n\nHe holds triple American Board certifications in neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and epilepsy. He completed his MD in neurology from Al Azhar University, with specialized training in epilepsy and EEG from Case Western Reserve University, USA. He led the development of accredited stroke centers and founded key neurology conferences in the region. With over 40 publications, he is active in international research and guideline development.
