Terms and Conditions of Use

  1. Acceptance of the Terms
    By accessing, browsing, or using the Medetarian Conference Organizing (MCO) website (the "Site"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Terms”). You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates, including the Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and regulations concerning electronic marketing and telecommunications. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use or access the Site. MCO reserves the right to revise or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site constitutes your acceptance of any such changes.
  2. Availability of the Site and Services
    MCO makes reasonable efforts to ensure the Site and its services are available; however, access to the Site may not be available at all times or in all areas. MCO reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site, or any part of its content or services, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. You agree that MCO shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Site or its services.

  3. Use Restrictions
    You may not:

    • Copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Site or its content.

    • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or the servers and networks that host it.

    • Harvest or collect personally identifiable information about users without their express consent.\

    • Impersonate any person or entity or provide false information for the purpose of gaining unlawful access to the Site.

    • Transmit any virus, malicious code, or other harmful components in connection with the Site.

    • Use the Site for any illegal, unauthorized, or commercial purposes without explicit permission from MCO.

      Your failure to comply with these provisions may result in the termination of your access to the Site and may expose you to civil and/or criminal liability.

    MCO is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). We collect and process personal data such as your name, email address, phone number, profession, organization, country, city, and at times, license number for event registration and related services.

    • Consent: By submitting your personal information, you consent to its collection and use as outlined in our Privacy Policy. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time by contacting us directly.

    •  Use of Data: Your personal data is used solely for event registration, communication, certification, and related purposes. We may share your data with third-party service providers (e.g., payment processors, event platforms) as necessary to facilitate these services.

    • Data Security: We employ reasonable security measures to protect your personal data. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security and are not responsible for any unauthorized access or breach of your personal information.

    • Data Breach Notification: In the event of a data breach that compromises your personal data, MCO will notify you in accordance with the UAE data protection regulations. You will be informed of the nature of the breach, the data affected, and any steps you should take to mitigate potential risks.

  5. Intellectual Property Rights
    All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, trademarks, and service marks (collectively, “Intellectual Property”), is the sole property of MCO or its licensors and is protected by UAE and international copyright laws. You are not granted any license or right to use any of the Intellectual Property without the prior written permission of MCO.
  6. Third-Party Links
    The Site may contain links to third-party websites that are not under MCO’s control. MCO is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by MCO. You acknowledge and agree that MCO shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of such third-party sites.

  7. Disclaimer and Warranties
    THE SITE AND ITS CONTENTS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. MCO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. MCO DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR THE ACCURACY OF THE INFORMATION PRESENTED ON THE SITE. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTAND THAT THE INFORMATION ON THIS SITE IS FOR GENERAL INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

  8. Limitation of Liability
    THE USE OF THE SITE IS SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. IN NO EVENT SHALL MCO BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES EVEN IF MCO HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MCO, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

  10. Governing Law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Abu Dhabi.

  11. Unsubscribe and Communication Preferences
    If you no longer wish to receive communications from MCO or wish to opt out of any marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions in the email you received or by contacting us directly. To unsubscribe from future marketing communications:

Please note that even if you unsubscribe from marketing communications, you may still receive essential service-related emails, such as registration confirmations, event reminders, or updates regarding your participation in our events.
