PHARMACY CONFERENCE

Dr. Said Koabari is a clinical lead pharmacist with more than 14 years of experience as Hospital pharmacist. Furthermore he worked as a Teaching Aids at Al Ahram Canadian University Egypt, currently he is working as Clinical Lead Pharmacist in Abu Dhabi Health Services, Co. – SEHA. He is a core member of different committees in SEHA like Antimicrobial stewardship & Medication Therapy Management.

Dr. Koabari is Editorial board member and reviewer in different journals e.g. Future Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences& International Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Clinical Pharmacy.

Dr. Koabari studied clinical pharmacy at Zagazig University, Egypt and graduated on 2008 with excellent with honour grade, He then received his M.Sc. in clinical pharmacy in 2014, and he completed his MBA from Torrens university/Abu Dhabi in 2015. Recently Dr.Said received his doctor of pharmacy degree (Pharm D) 2019, SCU, Egypt.

Recently Dr. Koabari become a Board Certified Medication Therapy Management BCMTM in 19-Dec-2020. He also is a certified pharmacotherapy specialist (BCPS) since 2014. In addition, He is a certified infections disease pharmacist.

Dr. Koabari got many awards such as Healthcare innovative pioneer Award from UAE government during TIPSUMMIT 2020, for the patent invention of “Senior citizens’ friendly innovative medication App” The Award is handed by H.E. Eng. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, UAE Minister of Economy H.E. Rashed Abdul Karim Alblooshi, Undersecretary of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi. As well as 1st Place winner award for Hospital Pharmacy section from FIP (International Pharmaceutical Federation)-2019 Abu Dhabi.

Recently Dr. Koabari awarded by The 8th International Best Practice Competition 2022 with the first place and 7 stars rating for his project ‘’the first outpatient antimicrobial stewardship program in the region led by ambulatory clinical pharmacists’’
