Dr. Mohamed AlKhaja, MBBS, SBN, FEBN, is a Consultant Neurologist, Epileptologist, and Clinical Neurophysiologist at King Hamad University Hospital, Bahrain, where he serves as Manager of the Neurophysiology Laboratory. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) – Medical University of Bahrain.
Dr. AlKhaja completed the Saudi Board of Neurology and the Saudi Fellowship in Epilepsy and EEG. He is a Fellow of the European Board of Neurology (FEBN) and is certified by the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology, with added competency in Epilepsy Monitoring.
His clinical and academic expertise encompasses epilepsy, electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, and therapeutic botulinum toxin injections. He has extensive experience in advanced neurophysiological diagnostics and has interpreted thousands of EEG and EMG studies. His academic interests include epilepsy, clinical neurophysiology, neurotoxin therapies, and emerging treatments in neurological disorders.
