Dr. Yaser Al Malik is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Associate Dean of Academic affairs at college of medicine, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health sciences, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is also a consultant Neurologist and Head of Multiple sclerosis/Neuroimmunology division, Neurology department at King Abdulaziz medical city in Riyadh.  He also served as the founding head of MS Chapter at Saudi Neurology Society (2020-2024). Dr. Al Malik completed his residency training in adult neurology at University of Calgary, Canada in 2014. After becoming a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, he went on to complete a fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology at University of Calgary (2014-2016) and then completed a second fellowship in clinical Neurophysiology (2016-2017).  In addition, his interest in teaching has led him to pursuit a master’s degree in medical education (2021). Dr. Al Malik is involved in clinical research, including industry sponsored trials, quality assurance projects and registries. He is also involved in teaching of residents and medical students in various settings. 

Zakiyah Aldaajani is a Consultant Neurologist and Movement Disorders Specialist, Director of Academic Affairs and Training at King Fahad Military Medical Complex in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. She is a member of the Saudi Movement Disorders Chapter Steering Committee and a member of the Movement Disorders Society. She is engaged in various study groups and committees within the MDS. She has directed courses and schools and has been a faculty member at national and international conferences. She has contributed as an author for multiple publications on Parkinson's disease and Movement Disorders. She has a background in teaching Neurology residents and previously served as the Neurology Residency Program Director.

Dr. Al-Hashel is a Professor of Neurology and Headache specialist. He is a graduate of the college of medicine, Kuwait University, Kuwait. Dr. Al-Hashel completed his neurology residency as well as his fellowship in headache and Botulinum toxin injection at McGill University, Canada. Dr. Al-Hashel is board certified from the Royal college of Physicians and Surgeon of Canada (FRCPC) and had also American fellowship in Headache Medicine (FAHS) and Canadian fellowship in Headache  Medicine from McGill University. He is a Consultant Neurologist and Professor of Neurology at Kuwait University, faculty of medicine in  Kuwait. He established the headache and the Botulinum toxin clinic in Ibn Sina and Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospitals in Kuwait. Dr. Al-Hashel is the President of Kuwait Neurological Society and the Vice President of Pan Arab Union of 
Neuroscience (PAUNS). Dr. Al-Hashel has more than 130 publications in the field of Neurology and author a chapter in chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) in International neurology book, Second edition. Dr. Al-Hashel was awarded as best researcher in Kuwait University in 2015. Dr. Al-Hashel was awarded by H.H the Amer of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah for scientific achievements in Medical Sciences and Allied Health Sciences 2019.

Dr. Aishah Ibrahim Albakr, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Dammam.

Dr. Albakr is an associate professor of neurology at College of medicine in Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU), Dammam. She is a consultant neurologist/stroke ologist in King Fahd University Hospital, Alkhobar, Saudi Arabia. She is the program director of Neurology fellowship in Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Dammam.

She obtained her MBBS with honor from IAU in 2010. Finished her Neurology residency at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University in 2014. She did her clinical and research fellowship in stroke at Ottawa University, Canada in 2017. She has been the head of stroke unit in King Fahad University Hospital from 2017-2023.

Dr. Fawzi A. Babtain, MBBS, MHSc, FRCPC, CSCN (EEG, EMG), is a distinguished neurologist specializing in epilepsy, clinical neurophysiology, and epidemiology. He holds certification in the business applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, reflecting his commitment to innovation in healthcare. Dr. Babtain serves as Director of the Epilepsy and EEG Fellowship Program and Medical Director of the Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory, where he oversees advanced diagnostic and educational initiatives. In addition, he is Deputy Chair of the Department of Neuroscience, providing strategic leadership in clinical care, medical education, research, and the integration of emerging technologies into neurological practice.

Dr. Haifa Alabri is a senior consultant, adult neurology and epileptologist. Graduated from Sultan Qaboos University Hospital and completed her Adult Neurology residency program and epilepsy fellowship at Case Western University at Cleveland Ohio by 2018. Current she is running the adult epilepsy monitoring unit at the university medical city in Oman, Chairman of the curriculum committee at the Oman neurology residency program, secretary of the Oman league against epilepsy, member of the international league against epilepsy eastern Mediterranean region (2025-2029) and a member of the Epilepsy comorbidity task force at the ILAE.

Dr. Khalid Alrasheed is a consultant neurologist and neuromuscular specialist with advanced fellowship training from the University of California, Irvine, and residency training at McGill University, Canada. He currently serves as Chairman of the Adult Neurology Department at King Fahad Specialist Hospital, Dammam. Board-certified in Neurology, Neuromuscular Medicine, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABPN/ABEM), Dr. Alrasheed’s clinical and academic work focuses on neuromuscular disorders, electromyography (EMG), peripheral nerve and muscle diseases, and clinical research. His work combines patient care, medical education, and research aimed at advancing the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular diseases.

Dr. Haythum O. Tayeb is a professor of neurology specializing in behavioral neurology, neuropsychiatry, epilepsy, and clinical neurophysiology. He leads behavioral neurology services at King Abdulaziz University Hospital, New York Medical College, and is the president of the Saudi Chapter of Behavioral Neurology. His academic interests include cognitive disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, neuropsychiatric symptoms, medical education, and health-system development. Dr. Tayeb is passionate about teaching residents through practical clinical reasoning, bedside diagnosis, and thoughtful integration of neuroscience with patient-centered care.

Dr. Maria Junaidi is a neurologist practicing in Rashid Hospital, Dubai for the past eight years. She is a graduate of the Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan and completed her post graduate training from the same institute. She holds a fellowship in vascular neurology and is one of the founding members for MENA stroke organization. She is also an avid researcher and has a number of publications in international peer reviewed journals.

Dr. Najwa Al-Bustani, is a Neurology Consultant with special interest in Neuromuscular medicine and Neurology Residency program director in the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. She holds an academic position of a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner Collage of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Al-Bustani received her medical degree from Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. She completed her residency training in Neurology at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. Subsequently, she completed her fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology, EMG Track and Neuromuscular Medicine at the University of Washington, Seattle, W.A., USA.

Dr. Shivam Om Mittal, MD, FAAN, DSc, is Section Head of the Comprehensive Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. U.S.-trained at Case Western Reserve University with fellowships at Mayo Clinic and Yale University, he specializes in Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia, and device-aided therapies. He has performed over 100 Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) implants and leads one of the region’s most advanced programs. Dr. Mittal has published several papers, is editor of the forthcoming Oxford Handbook of Movement Disorders, and serves as Chair of the MDS Middle East Working Group and board member of the Emirates Neurology Society.

Dr. Mazen Sabah is a Consultant Neurologist and Neuro-ophthalmologist. He completed his neurology training at Southampton University Hospital, where he subsequently held a Consultant Neurologist position. He also completed a fellowship in Neuro-ophthalmology at St Thomas’ Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. 

Dr. Mazen has a special interest in Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) and previously served as the lead physician for the IIH multidisciplinary team at the Wessex Neurological Centre in the UK. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications in ophthalmology and neuro-ophthalmology. Dr. Mazen is currently practising at Mediclinic Dubai Mall, where he provides specialist care in general neurology and neuro-ophthalmology.

Dr. Reem Alsuwaidi is a Consultant Neurologist and MS Specialist at Rashid Hospital, Dubai Health. She is a Saudi Board–certified Neurologist. She further pursued a clinical fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis at the University of Toronto, Canada.

In Dubai’s healthcare landscape, Dr. Alsuwaidi provides specialized care for MS patients, serves as a principal investigator for multiple MS research studies at her center, and contributes actively to medical education as the Deputy Program Director of the Neurology Residency Program. She currently leads the MS Clinic at Rashid Hospital and is a board member of the Emirates Neurology Society.

Prof. Abubaker Almadani is a board-certified neurologist with advanced fellowship training in neuromuscular disorders from Toronto, Canada. Currently serves as the Chief of the Neurology Department and Chairman of the Neuromuscular Center at Rashid Hospital. A proven leader in clinical program development, having spearheaded the establishment of a Center of Excellence in Neurology and multiple subspecialty clinics. Dr. Abubaker is also clinical professor of  MBRU Offers extensive expertise in neuromuscular diseases, headache disorders, multiple sclerosis, and general neurology, dedicated to elevating patient care and clinical standards.
